KBR Lifestyles is proud to announce we are expanding once again and opening up our unique and innovative KBR Fitness Zone. Our new KBR F.I.T. (Fitness Interval Training) Facility will push you to the max utilizing every bit of energy you have and burning all that unnecessary fat while building lean muscle at the same time.

KBR F.I.T. uses a heart-rate monitoring system that is designed to help you make sure your heart rate is in the optimal zones for maximum metabolic stimulation. The result of breaking down your workout into cardiovascular and strength training provides the efficiency of burning fat for up to an additional 48 hours after your workout. With our heart rate software, you will be able to track your calories burnt and heart rate the entire workout on monitors in the gym. Once your workout is complete, you will then receive an email with all your daily workout accomplishments. Our software also allows you to track up to 16 hours of movement when your belt is on outside the  KBR Fitness Zone. Once you return to the KBR Fitness Zone, all your data that has been saved will upload to our server. Each user will have their own account which they can view from an app on their phones or a personal login on the computer to see all their results at any time.

Targeting Maximum Fat Loss through Interval Training

Interval training is a popular form of exercise that combines two of the most effective fat-burning methods.

The first is high-intensity training, which pushes the body to maximum effort to achieve muscle fatigue and maximum oxygen use in a quick burst. The harder muscles work, the more oxygen they require. This is measured relative to one’s VO2 max, which is the highest amount of oxygen your body consumes during exercise. Working your body close to its VO2 max triggers the after burn effect where the body continues to consume oxygen (and burn calories) up to 48 hours after the workout (it takes approximately five calories to consume one liter of oxygen).

The second method is interval training, which alternates periods of intense effort with periods of moderate-to-low intensity effort. Interval training boosts metabolism significantly longer than a steady workout of equal or even greater length (for example, a 20 minute workout of alternating high/low-intensity periods burns more calories than a 20 minute workout of stead intensity). Interval training also builds lean muscle tissue faster than steady state training.

By combining the above two principles, exercisers can maximize fat-burning and muscle-building potential through significantly shorter workouts. Interval Training maximizes increased metabolic rate optimizes muscle building and muscle retention during fat loss, and increases calorie burn during and after workouts.

The Science Behind Interval Training

F.I.T. taxes and maximizes both aerobic and anaerobic fitness, while cardio addresses aerobic only. Aerobic respiration requires oxygen to generate energy in the form of ATP, while anaerobic respiration does not. F.I.T. affects muscle tissue at the cellular level, actually changing mitochondrial activity in the muscles themselves. Studies indicate as little as 27 minutes of F.I.T. three times per week produces the same anaerobic and aerobic improvement as 60 minutes of steady state cardio five times per week.

2. “Sign Up” for your first class on whatever day and time you want to come.
3. Click CONTINUE, once “Your Cart” pops up
4. Go to New Client and click, “Create An Account”
5. Fill out all necessary information and click “Register”
6. Click on “Initial Session FREE” ADD TO CART
7. Apply Promo Code (if you have one), Click “Update Total”, then Click CHECKOUT
8. You will then receive an email with confirmation of creating your account.
9. Use the steps on that email to download the mobile app for quicker and more efficient use

    ** After you have attended your initial session free, you will be given an opportunity to purchase either a month-to-month contract, six month contract, or twelve month contract. **
